  • Are standard spring pins or roll pins included?

    This page is for custom solid machined pins made to drawings. Standard formed spring pins, roll pins, and stock cotter pins are different product types. If your project needs a custom solid pin with defined geometry, material, fit, or secondary features, send the drawing for review.

  • How should I define a press-fit pin?

    Provide the pin diameter, mating-hole size, host material, desired retention behavior, insertion method, and whether the assembly can tolerate local deformation. A press fit is a system decision: the same pin feature can behave differently in aluminum, steel, plastics, or thin-wall parts.

  • Can a CNC pin include threads, grooves, or knurling?

    Yes. These features can be evaluated from your drawing. Specify thread standard and usable length, groove dimensions and retaining hardware, or knurl pattern, knurled length, host material, and assembly method. This avoids treating a retention feature as a cosmetic detail.

  • Can you make locating or dowel-style pins?

    Yes. For locating pins, provide the required locating diameter, effective locating length, mating-hole tolerance, insertion condition, end form, and any shoulder or mounting feature.
